ABOUT

Madeleine Churchill is the Founder of THE SET, bringing over 15 years of experience in commercial media across some of the industry’s most iconic titles.

Most recently, Madeleine led the Fashion & Beauty commercial teams at Condé Nast Publications, where she was responsible for revenue growth across brands including British VOGUE, Glamour, and GQ. Prior to that, she held the role of Partnerships Director at British VOGUE, where she oversaw branded content, talent partnerships, and large-scale commercial activations.

Throughout her time at Condé Nast, Madeleine observed a major shift in how  brands approached storytelling and engagement in an increasingly saturated landscape. She played a key role in shaping brand campaigns that leveraged the credibility and influence of editorial voices -  recognising early on the power of trusted talent in cutting through the noise.

“It became increasingly clear that trusted voices were what audiences - and brands - responded to. We saw editors being pulled into every part of the storytelling process - from being quoted in features, to styling shoots, starring in them, and even speaking on event panels. That’s when the idea for THE SET was born, and I recognised the need for a specialist agency that represented this calibre of expert talent - to help create meaningful partnerships that truly moved the needle.”

Madeleine founded THE SET to bring together her deep industry knowledge, commercial strategy expertise, and passion for connecting talent with brands.
